Dressed in a frightening Bride of Satan costume, first lady Laura Bush met with
new pope Joseph Ratzinger at the Vatican today.The president's wife arrived in a black dress and a horrific black veil, with thick blood-red lipstick providing the only color on her corpselike face with its vacant black eyes.
First twin Barbara Bush Jr. was also clad in black, but she did not wear the matching Dracula veil or blood-colored lip paint.
If there was a reason for their funeral outfits, it was not announced to the public.
Mrs. Bush and the Pope, a former Nazi, apparently worked on a magic potion during their visit.

No no,you've got it backwards. Mrs. Bush was trying to be Elvira. Although I am surprised that they let her in showing knee because I know tourists have to wear paper pants.
