Jehovah's Witness Sues Over Haunted Kitchen After Refusing Catholic Exorcism on Religious Grounds

The ghosts have filed an anti-undead employment discrimination lawsuit against the Chungs for refusing to hire them as waiters. 'We've worked here for 400 yeeeaarrsss!' moaned one.

Landlord Sues Restaurateurs Over Ghosts

from The Associated Press

ORLANDO, Fla. - The landlords of an Orlando entertainment complex are suing two restaurateurs for refusing to move into a renovating building because they claim it is haunted.

Subcontractors who worked there and other people have reported seeing ghosts or other apparitions, said Lynn Franklin, attorney for the restaurant owners.

"It's very serious," Franklin said Thursday. "A lot of people are corroborating having seen incidents in this location."

The $2.6 million lawsuit filed last month by the owners of the Church Street Station entertainment complex says an offer to hold an exorcism was refused.

"I asked them if these were good ghosts or bad ghosts, and if they were good ghosts why it was a problem," said David Simmons, an attorney representing the building's owners, who include boy band promoter Lou Pearlman. Simmons is also a member of the state House.

Christopher and Yoko Chung, the owners of Amura Japanese Restaurant, had planned to move into the building last October, but backed out of the lease.

Franklin said Christopher Chung's religious beliefs as a Jehovah's Witness required him to "avoid encountering or having any association with spirits or demons," and Chung also objected to the offer for an exorcism because it is a Roman Catholic rite not accepted by his faith.

The lawsuit also asks a judge to decide whether the building is haunted and, if so, whether the ghosts would interfere with the restaurant's business. Renovations have stopped on the building, and it remains empty.

A company called Orlando Ghost Tours regularly led visitors through the property until it changed hands in 2001 and still begins its tours in front of the building.

Btw, the moon isn't made out of green cheese and little people don't live inside your TV. Just thought the Chungs might like to know.

Matthew 7:15"Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.
The sleazy watchtower $ociety only cares about it's image, devotion of it's followers, and plundering the time money and assets of followers.

Just like a cult in every way.....

More have died from their Watchtower spiritual and medical quackery than Jim Jones and David Koresh cults combined!

Jehovah's Witnesses beliefs:

A) They are at your door to recruit you for enslavement to their watchtower corporation, they will say that "we are just here to share a message from the Bible" this is deception right off.

B) Their 'message' is a false Gospel that Jesus had his second coming in 1914.The problem with this is it's not just a cute fairy tale,Jesus warned of the false prophets who would claim "..look he is here in the wilderness,or see here he is at the temple..."

C) Their anti-blood transfusion ban has killed hundreds if not thousands

D) once they recruit you they will "love bomb" you in cult fashion to also recruit your family & friends or cut them off. There are many more dangers,Jehovah's Witnesses got a bad rap for good and valid reasons.

99% of the world has rejected the teachings of the Watchtower Jehovah’s Witnesses, the darker truth is they are a destructive and oppressive organization.
Mind control is a terrible thing.

What a bunch of rubbish. If you want to follow the bibles teachings, without missing one, the Jehovah's Witnesses are the religion. If not, if you can't stand following every law God gave man, then follow some other religion. But the bible does say to pour out any spilled blood, and not to use it again. The scriptures are specific, and the witnesses do not falter. I am an ex-JW and only because I cannot unrepentantly live accorrding to every bible teaching, not because they are wrong.
READ YOUR BIBLE

This is all wrong, if you think tech is advance enough to dectect any type of STD, then you are wrong. Ask Brookwood medical center that if blood transfusions is a good idea. If the tech doesnt detect a hidden STD, then when it enters a new person's blood stream, the STD awakens then you are out of luck. There's a reason why those people dont accept blood transfusions and it's a good one. they also believe in a resuerrection so that when they die, they have hope.

I used to think the JW's made up the whole 'Jesus took His throne in 1914'. I researched their claim for myself and found that, if the Bible and subsequent Kingdom of God is true, then the date 1914 is correct. It's really quite a simple calculation. Every practice the JW's do, comes from the Bible. As hard as it is for me to admit, the JW's didn't invent their faith. Their lifestyle comes from the Bible. I don't know if the Bible is divine and not some collection of stories, but I do know that the JW's take their orders from that book, not man.

Also, the Bible says Abstain from blood.
Not that you can put it into your veins as long as you don't drink it.
I am also an ex Witness, & agree w everything above person said.
I just got tired, because they DO have standards, & I wanted to go out, get drunk & dance. But I didn't want to be a hypocrite. So I just stopped going to meetings.
Also, after being single/ celibate for 16 years, guys less than half my age were chasing me, & I wanted to enjoy that. So I did.
They do not condone single people having sex without marriage.
I believe Catholics, most religions, like Muslims, do not read their holy book themselves. They rely on someone else to tell them what to believe.
Jehovah's Witnesses read the Bible from one end to the other completely every 3 years. 2 chapters a week, analyze it, Study history, holidays, what to celebrate, why, and where customs came from. Most of our holidays stem from pagan customs, Catholics embrace it. JW's do not want to offend God, so they don't celebrate...

Not to mention that the God believes your spirit and life force is your blood. I have known very old people that have their complete blood transfused every few months to still alive. The grandfather would come home with a different personality every time. I kid you not.
I'm sure you've all heard these kinds of stories
